Here is an ACM taper I measured a couple years ago.  It is a 6 1/2' 2 pc. I'll
list the three measurements, and both tips. I've not been able to make the
rod because quite simply the tip dimensions are too tiny for my forms. 
These measurements were taken over varnish which I estimated at .004" total
so I would take .002" off of each strip dimension.
