Purpose: The purpose of AISA is to strive to assist American Indian students in gaining leadership and advocacy skills while providing a cultural awareness and demonstrating a commitment to campus community involvement through the empowerment of education.
Activities: Our activities include our 30th Annual Autumn UWM Pow Wow in addition to awareness events such as demonstrations and lectures, Toys for Tots, lectures at area schools, local conferences, movies, and hosting guest speakers and musicians.

Purpose: The purpose of ASU is to promote cultural awareness and understanding, to provide a network for ASU students and those interested in the many different Asian cultures to be a voice and representative on behalf of the students.
Activities: ASU activities include social events such as a Thanksgiving potluck, Christmas dinner, movie nights, BBQ's and more. ASU also provides opportunities for its members to advance in leadership skills with various leadership conferences like, Mafa, HND, and APIA-U Leadership 101.

Purpose: The purpose of this organization is to further an understanding of the German language as well as the culture.
Activities: Every Wednesday from 3-4pm, the German Club meets for an activity called "Kaffeepause". Also, on Wednesday's at 8pm another activity called "Stammtisch". Both events are weekly and German is spoken during both meetings to practice the language.

Activities: As an organization, HSA provides events for all students to interact as a community at UWM. We attend various conferences such as HND and promote the Hmong culture throughout the year, especially during Asian Awareness Month.

Purpose: LSU is a student based organization dedicated to creating a positive Latino voice on campus and in the community. Purpose: The purpose of the Atmospheric Science Club is two fold. It is first used as a means of supporting and enhancing the students' interests in Atmospheric Sciences. Secondly, it is a resource for promoting the Atmospheric Science department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Activities: Our activities include an annual storm chase which is funded by brat sales held throughout the year. We also have a weather forecasting event, weather seminars and meetings, and coordinate with Panthervision.

Anime viewing and discussion will provide insight into these art forms as a medium of expression for the Japanese culture and break stereotypes related to it.
