Events for "Potential Panthers"

Okay, seriously, we really do want you to come to UW-Milwaukee. Not just because it's a great Institution of Higher Learning - UWM offers 120 undergraduate majors with 155 degree programs throughout its 12 colleges. And not just because it has some fantastic sports programs (including ours!) Or just because it has a fantastic campus set in a great neighborhood on Milwaukee's Eastside.

We want you to come to UW-Milwaukee because it's the right fit for you. UW-Milwaukee as a University pretty much sells itself. In fact, UWM is one of the top 100 Public Doctoral Research Institutions in the country. And if you've ever been to the Campus, it's one of the best college campuses in the midwest. You have great access to the community and downtown Milwaukee, and the campus is in a nice residential area of Milwaukee's Eastside with great access to Lake Michigan.

What may make UW-Milwaukee the right fit for you, is our team - the Lady Panther Rugby Football Club. I've been coaching rugby for ten years now, and this team is really something special. These girls aren't just teammates, they're friends. What makes us such a successful team is that these ladies do care so much about one another. When they step on that rugby field, they don't expect to win just because that's what they've been taught. They don't expect to win because that's what they want. They expect to win for one another. That is something which is a very special experience, and that's what we want to offer you!

So our "Potential Panther" Events are our way of letting you into the lives of our players and the way we run our club. It's an opportunity for a brief moment to see what it's like to be a Lady Panther and choose if it's the right thing for you. We believe that what we have is special, and we hope that you will feel the same!
