Membership in the LPRFC:

Collegiate Students and Incoming Freshmen

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the club either as a Full, New or Social member. We are a club sport recognized by the UW-Milwaukee Student Association. There are no tryouts, and no one is cut from the team.

We are very interested in getting new people involved in our club! As a NEW member, you have no practice requirement, and you are allowed to play in weekend matches to aid building our club! We only ask that you make practices when you are able (even for part of the practice) and that you're willing to learn!

Full Members of the club are those who have dedicated themselves to the team, and have arranged their schedule so that they are able to make over 50% of our practices. These are the members of the club who are actively competing for starting positions, and are paying full club dues.

Social Memberships are available to any interested member of the community. Social Members are given special pricing on team merchandise and are "Official" welcomed guests of the team. Social members can be anyone interested in the sport. They are subscribed to our newsletter, and have standing invitations at all club functions.

If you are interested in becoming involved with the club at any one of these levels, please proceed to the registration page and send us your information. A member of the club will contact you within 2 business days to give you more information and get you signed up!

High School Athletes - "Potential Panthers"

If you're a High School Rugby Player and are interested in the LPRFC, please register for our "Potenrial Panther" List! We'll keep you up-to-date on the Lady Panthers and any activities we have scheduled for High School Athletes. We'll register your information and add you to our "Potential Panther" E-mail list - lprfc-recruiting@uwm.edu.

At last count, over 150 High School Athletes have registered for our list! We're very interested in having you aboard, because without you, we can not continue to be successful as a rugby club!

With this E-mail list, you can keep informed abouot the LPRFC, and receive special offers for you and your teammates, such as movie nights on the UW-Milwaukee Campus, and guest player weekends where you can travel with the team and play with the Lady Panthers!

For those of you who want to just jump in...

We Practice Tuesdays and Thursdays at McKinley Marina / Veterans Park just off the intersection of Lincoln Memorial Drive and Lagoon Drive from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Games are held each Saturday.

If you need directions to practice, please visit our Practice Schedule page to obtain detailed directions from your location. If you do not have transportation to practice and are on a tight schedule, please visit our Interactive Campus Map to obtain information on the free uPark Shuttle Service which will take you right from campus to our practice location.
