The UWM Student Occupational Association executive board meeting was called to order at 6:08 pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2000.
Present were: Jaime Minter, Larry Taylor, Nina Orlando, Melissa Adelman, Kim Schroeder, Shannon Kelley, Traceey Joerger, Tracy Blackwood, Tiana Boetcher, Inga M. Larson, and Dana Karow.
Treasurer Report: (Melissa Adelman)
$451.75 (this does not include nametags and membership fees)
Melissa asks that each deparment writes a proposal of how much money they will need so that she can plan a budget and we can gundraise accordingly.
Social Committee Report: (Inga M. Larson)
Tentative date for winter social is January 27th

Dress: Formal
Will include appetizers and music
Considering putting handouts in everyone's mailbox to RSVP by.
Supplementary Education Report: (Traceey Joerger)
Ginny Stoffel of AOTA will come to speak at the SOTA general meeting Wednesday, November 15th.
WSOTA / ASCOTA Report: (Dana Karow)
Executive Board member of WOTA wants to come speak to our class (the date is TBA).
Student / Faculty Report: (Shannon Kelley)
Requirements for entry into OT program are: GPA 2.75 and 40 hours of community service.
If you are undecided on whether you are following the BS/MS track or not, you must let your advisor know immediately.

Larry Taylor mentioned that our constitution states that no one can hold more than one position. Dana Karow is both the WSOTA and the ASCOTA representative.
On Wednesday, November 15th, during the general meeting, we will vote on: 1) change the constitution; 2)add a clause; 3)have someone take up one of Dana's positions.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:51 pm.
