SOTA (The Student Occupational Therapy Association) is a student organization within an Occupational Therapy (OT) program at a college/university.  Each school that has an Occupational Therapy program offers a chapter of SOTA for its students to participate in. 

SOTA allows OT students and Pre-OT students the opportunity to...

• learn more about Occupational Therapy,
• learn about issues within practice today,
• increase OT awareness, as well as the value of and importance of OT treatment, within the community,
• meet other students, faculty and staff within their program,
• have access to valuable Pre-OT class notes (in ANY class),
• give, take, and offer support to other students within your program,
• have some fun, fun, fun!!!!!!!!

To join the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), all one has to do is...

• Be a Pre-OT or OT student at The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
• Fill out an application.
• Pay your yearly FEE ($10.00 for OT students, and only $5.00 for Pre-OT students--half price--what a deal!!!) to SOTA's treasurer.
• Participate as much as you'd like to in SOTA's social and educational events as much as you'd like.
