UWM hosts several USCF rated tournaments each year. Details regarding these tournaments will eventually be available on this site. Meanwhile, if you stop by the Chess Club office, we will have tournaments listings posted on our bulletin board. Note that a USCF (United States Chess Federation) membership is required for all USCF rated tournaments. You may purchase this membership from the Chess Club, or at the USCF website. Prices are subject to USCF regulations, and a subscription to Chess Life is included with each membership.

We also host non-rated weekly blitz tournaments. Anyone can come down and play. A small fee is collected, pooled, and distributed to the winners. Chess play on these nights is not restricted to the blitz tournaments. So if you just feel like playing one game, it won't be a problem.
