ACADEMIC BACKGROUND B.A. or B.S., any discipline Undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 (4.0 scale)
APPLICATION Complete UW-Milwaukee Graduate School Application:
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Arch/MUP, MPA/MUP or MUP/MS program submit one application, which is reviewed by both programs.
REASONS STATEMENT
Required with application. This statement should address the following:
Why are you interested in becoming a professional planner? STANDARDIZED TESTS
GRE – General Test
TOEFL – international applicants, 100 (iBT) or 600 (PBT):
RECOMMENDATIONS Three letters of
recommendation from people familiar with your academic and/or professional
work. Letters should be from non-related individuals who know you through
previous academic programs or relevant professional activity. DEADLINES Fall Entry: March 1 Spring Entry: October 1
International applicants are advised to apply by September 1 to allow
time for processing all credentials, and to meet deadlines for financial
assistance. Please note that earlier application deadlines for various forms of financial assistance (e.g., graduate school fellowships) require prompt submission of all credentials. Fellowship applications are available November 1, and can be downloaded from the Graduate School website at http://www.graduateschool.uwm.edu/forms-and-downloads/.

School of Architecture and Urban Planning: Letters of recommendation.
* Students earning an undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee do not need to submit transcripts.
