GRE – General Test TOEFL – international applicants, 100 (iBT) or 600 (PBT): www.ets.org or IELTS examination score of 7.0.
The GRE must be taken in order to apply for fellowships and assistantships. To report scores use R1473 as the institution code and 4401 as the departmental code.
RECOMMENDATIONS Three letters of
recommendation from people familiar with your academic and/or professional
work. Letters should be from non-related individuals who know you through
previous academic programs or relevant professional activity. PORTFOLIO Required of all applicants. DEADLINE 2 YEARJanuary 15 (Fall admission only)
3-1/2 YEAR January 15 (Summer admission only) International applicants are advised to apply by September 1 to allow
time for processing all credentials, and to meet deadlines for financial
assistance. Please note that earlier application deadlines for various forms of financial assistance (e.g., graduate school fellowships) require prompt submission of all credentials. Fellowship applications are available November 1, and can be downloaded from the Graduate School website at http://www.graduateschool.uwm.edu/forms-and-downloads/.
