- Research Interests
Professor Van Oudenallen most recent research interests are in housing
and society, self-help housing, and the application of research on aging
in the design studio. He is also interested in public involvement in
planning and design, research on children's play and learning
environments, the effects of the designed environment on children's play
behavior, planning and design for the handicapped, pattern language and
marketplaces.
