Research Interests
Policy analysis, especially in relation to balancing efficiency and equity in environmental, health, and safety regulations and policy.  Currently, Dr. Frank's primary research interest involves policy issues related to the preservation of open space and the promotion of land use policies that reduce development impacts on the environment. Dr. Frank also has substantial policy experience on issues related to Brownfield cleanup and redevelopment. In general, Dr. Frank's research concerns decisions-making processes, including public participation.
