Envisioning Architecture: Drawings by Martin Wolf

“Envisioning Architecture: Drawings by Martin Wolf” offers an insider’s
perspective on the working style and process of the architect, the principal
in charge of design at Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Associates, Chicago. In a
period dominated by digital and physical modeling, Wolf makes the case for
freehand drawing as the medium of re-iterative design exploration.

VJAA Case Study: The Telluride House
March 3, 2008 – March 28, 2008
Vincent James Associate Architects has attracted worldwide attention with
the design and refined detailing of their buildings. This exhibit will focus
on a single building, the Telluride house, with an emphasis on digital
design, engineering and fabrication. Models, digital renderings and
construction documentation will be used to document this case study.

Serving the Poor: St Benedict the Moor
March 31, 2008 – April 25, 2008
This exhibit will focus on recent community service work done under the
direction of Assistant Professor Gregory Thompson for an institution known
for serving the poorest of the poor: St. Benedict the Moor.
