This link is a virtual field trip of the Lake Michigan Shoreline near Milwaukee. It is intended as an instructional aid for pre-trip or post-trip activites for schools that actually visit the beaches. However, there are good views for anyone interested in beaches and beach processes. It was produced for an internet project of Dr Craig Berg from the School of Education at UWM. It build on a writen field guide by myself and a video of the beaches produced by John Gray of IMT and myself. The video tape and field guide are available from either myself or the Center for Mathematics and Science Education Research , in the School of Education.
