Four sources of information
provide the course
with the full palette
of today's knowledge:

  • A (optional) modern text book summarizing results of research and asking new questions
  • Acclaimed videos showing animals in action within their natural environments
  • Lectures explaining the underlying principles (biological, chemical, physical)
  • On the D2L site there will be reading material covering the material of the class in selected original published contributions
