The WEDNESDAY hour will be formal lecture time

The FRIDAY hour will be spent on the Internet (timing at your convenience)

Four sources of information
provide the course
with the full palette
of today's knowledge:

• A (optional) modern text book summarizing results of research and asking new questions
• Acclaimed videos showing animals in action within their natural environments
• Lectures explaining the underlying principles (biological, chemical, physical)
• On the D2L site there will be reading material covering the material of the class in selected original published contributions
