The VIRTARCH Home Page is meant to serve as a medium of discussion for the many applications of virtual reality to architecture and design. VIRTARCH was developed by a classes at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee entitled Virtual Reality and Architecture. The first project in the class was to explore who was currently applying virtual reality to architecture and design and to find out where this was happening. Our first discovery was that very few, if any, schools of architecture appeared to involved in such applications. At best, the application of virtual reality to architecture was being done by non-architectural schools and laboratories.
These works were created by my students: Alsten (#1&2), Demler (3&4), Cashman (5), Tetreau (6-8), Walgreen (9&10), and Mustaffa (11).
