Assignments:
Problem Sets:
There will be homework assignments based on theory and analysis and computing assignments using MATLAB.
Literature Review:
You will be reading two articles from the research literature, and: Writing a report Making a short presentation before the class
You will work in groups of 2, with a different partner each time. Partners will receive a common grade. I will assign partners once enrollment is finalized.
Final Project:
In the second half of the course there will be a computer- simulation-based adaptive control project. You will work in groups of 2 on the project, implementing and experimenting with a working adaptive control system.
Exams and Grading:
The will be two 1 hour exams, open book, open note.
