Examples of translating LaTeX to other formats

I am posting notes for my abstract algebra class on the web in various formats, and I decided to test a wide array of formats on one section of my notes. This page contains links to a number of files obtained from the LaTeX2e source file for section 7 of my notes (Vector Spaces, Bases, and Dimension) via different translation programs.

Abbreviations below: PS=PostScript, DVI=Device Independent (LaTeX output), HTML=Hypertext Markup Language (i.e., usual web format), PDF=Adobe Portable Document Format (viewed with Adobe Acrobat or Reader).
alpha=the main UWM computer (Unix system)

I think that some but not all of the problems you see in these files are my fault. (E.g., I didn't have all the software or didn't have it properly configured or don't know what I'm doing with DOS programs.)
