One potential solution to UWM student housing shortages moved closer to reality as the state Building Commission gave final approval to a $68.7 million plan to turn a warehouse into condominiums, student housing and classrooms for UWM.

UWM revels in spotlight

Steve Sperl chipped in a shot from 8 yards in the 88th minute as UWM’s men’s soccer team edged the University of San Francisco, 3-2, Saturday afternoon in a first-round NCAA tournament game. The victory was the Panthers’ nation-leading 11th straight and put them in the second round for a third straight season.
