Enrique Figueroa, director of UWM’s Roberto Hernandez Center, said differences of opinion on whether to push for the complete removal of talk show host Mark Belling are bound to emerge. Figueroa, a spokesman for the ad hoc committee formed to protest Belling’s use of an ethnic slur, also told the Milwaukee Business Journal that the success of the protest will empower the local Hispanic community.
