A photograph of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry wearing a UWM T-shirt as he rode his bike along the Charles River ran on the Associated Press wire Sunday and was picked up by many news organizations.

Rube Goldberg

A photo of the national Rube Goldberg competition, sponsored by UWM and MATC, Marquette, WCTC and MSOE, was featured on the front page of the paper's Metro section. Channel and Channel 6 also featured the story on the Saturday evening news.

Muslim student group concerned vandalism was hate crime

A spokesman for the UWM police said an investigation is continuing into a case involving raw pork stuffed under the door of the Muslim Student Association's office in the UWM Union.

The letter was in response to a Post story on the "stealth" nomination of Allen Weinstein to replace John Carlin as archivist of the United States, was published in the Washington Post.
