Panthers nip Crusaders

UWM's Dylan Page contributed 20 points and Joah Tucker came off the bench to help the Panthers win a an 86-82 victory over Valparaiso last week. However, the Panthers were defeated by in-state rivals, UW-Madison Saturday night.

SF Art Institute names new president
San Jose Mercury News, CA – Dec. 11, 2003
The San Francisco Art Institute has named Christopher Bratton, the dean of undergraduate studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, to be its new president. Bratton, 44, is a videographer who received his master's in film from UWM.


Violinist going for high note at UWM

Violinist Bernard Zinck, 37, a member of the UWM music faculty, made hiis local debut recital Tuesay at UWM's recital hall.

Accordion, string quartet a natural combination

The bayan accordion and the string quartet, apparently, never got together until Sunday afternoon at UWM‚s Zelazo Center. The group performed Efrem Podgaits' "Ex Animo," premiered by bayan virtuoso Friedrich Lips and the Fine Arts Quartet.
