UWM College of Health Sciences Holds "Grand Rounds" Dec. 16

MILWAUKEE—The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee College of Health Sciences features a discussion with experts on the Public Health Information Network (PHIN) on Thursday, Dec. 16, as part of the college’s 2004-05 Grand Rounds series. The session will be held at the UWM Union Ballroom, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd.

PHIN is a project of the state of Wisconsin’s Division of Public Health. The discussion will be moderated by College of Health Sciences Assistant Professor Kim Pemble.

Speakers are Michael L. Enstrom, project manager, PHIN Process Integration, and Elizabeth Seeliger, program director of Wisconsin Sound Beginnings. Both are with the Division of Public Health, state of Wisconsin. Also speaking is Lilah Katcher, project manager for the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program.

This presentation is being cosponsored by eCare Solutions, Inc.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast buffet, followed by the discussion from 8-9 a.m. Attendees may pay at the door, but must pre-register at 414-229-5761 or email iaortiz@uwm.edu. The cost is $8 general admission and $5 UWM students. Parking is available in the UWM Union lot accessed from Kenwood Blvd.

Grand Rounds is a series of roundtable discussions on healthcare issues designed to promote thoughtful dialogue and share information on issues of interest to the healthcare community, and is sponsored by the Dean’s Office of the College of Health Sciences.
