MILWAUKEE - ".NET and Mobile Computing" is the topic of a workshop at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Business Administration’s Center for Technology Innovation on Friday, Nov. 21, 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. at the UWM School of Business Administration, 3202 N. Maryland Ave., Room N146.
Douglas Boling, owner of Boling Consulting and a consultant for Microsoft, is the featured speaker. Boling is the author of the highly acclaimed "Programming Microsoft Windows CE .NET" from Microsoft Press. He consults and teaches seminars on Windows CE, and holds degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The workshop will provide an overview of Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio .NET, the .NET languages for mobile devices, creating smart client applications, device connectivity, and application interoperability.
