UWM Sets Homecoming Weekend Sept. 20-22

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee will hold a Homecoming Weekend Sept. 20-22 for alumni, faculty, staff, students, neighbors and the community. The weekend will feature a variety of arts, academics, sports, fun and food.

A tailgate party and Brewer's game at Miller Park Friday evening, Sept. 20, will kick off the weekend. The tailgate starts at 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, September 21, Homecoming activities return to the UWM campus with an Arts Festival (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Alumni College, a series of mini-courses from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition to the music, art exhibits, performances and Alumni College classes, the day's events also will include refreshments and a variety of family activities.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, the Utopian Voices of Praise will open the day's events at noon singing at a Gospel Brunch at the UWM Union, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd. A neighborhood block party will follow from 1-4 p.m.
