UWM's Human Performance Theatre Showcased May 8

MILWAUKEE - Join the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Human Experience Theatre student actors for their Spring Showcase on Wednesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the UWM Union, Room E240. The HET company performs scenes that explore sensitive subjects such as gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, personal biases, and conflict resolution. The event is free and followed by an informal reception.

Human Experience Theatre is a collaborative program that combines live performance and audience interaction to help people explore human issues and tackle real-world challenges encountered while working and living in a multi-cultural environment.

The HET's artistic director is Patrick Sims and program manager is Victoria Boswell. HET is a joint effort of the Peck School of the Arts Department of Theatre and Dance and the Office of the Secretary of the University, with support from the Cultures and Communities Program Milwaukee Idea.
