MILWAUKEE - B. Tommie Usdin from Mulberry Technologies, Inc. speaks on "Enterprise Content Management" for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Business Administration Center for Technology Innovation on Friday, April 26. The session takes place from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the School of Business Administration, 3202 N. Maryland Ave., Room N146.
Usdin is President of Mulberry Technologies, a consulting firm specializing in SGML and XML design and training. Usdin has been working with XML and XSLT since their inception, and with SGML since 1985. This workshop addresses the issue of how to use content management so that corporate information can be stored only once, yet delivered to the consumer in many different formats.
These formats might range from print for office use or production copy, content for use on Web sites, and to being transmitted and shared with partner organizations. Specifically, this workshop looks at using XML to accomplish this objective in two parts, "Converting from HTML to XML" and "Document Analysis and Markup Design." For registration information, call the UWM School of Business Administration at 229-3992.
