MILWAUKEE - The American Indian Student Services office at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is acting as a contact point for American Indian alumni of UWM.
The office is planning social events for 2002 and is interested in forming a constituent alumni association at UWM for American Indians.
"We're asking alums to send us two of their business cards," says Diane Amour, director of the American Indian Student Services office. The cards will be used for a recruiting poster called "Success is in the Cards."
Alumni are urged to contact the office so that a contact list can be established. "We're also asking them to help us locate any other American Indian alums they know," says Amour. Interested alumni can phone Amour or Jenelle Klumb at 414-229-5880, or contact them at klumb@uwm.edu or amour@uwm.edu.
