UWM Night at Miller Park - Saturday, Sept. 2

Attention, sports fans! This year’s annual UWM Night at Miller Park event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 2, when the Brewers take on the Florida Marlins at Miller Park in Milwaukee. The event features a tailgate party, along with other family-friendly activities. As an added attraction, it's Robin Yount Bobblehead Night, with everyone attending receiving one of these prized collectibles.
The festivities begin at 4 p.m. with a tailgate party and a rally under a tent in the east parking lot. Guests will enjoy a tailgate meal while listening to the upbeat sounds of UWM student musicians. Special guest Victor E. Panther and the UWM cheerleaders will get fans pumped up for the game, and then take part in the ceremonial first pitch before the game, along with UWM athletes and coaches.
UWM “stars” from the Peck School of the Arts will perform the National Anthem, accompanied by Signers for the Deaf from UWM’s Department of Exceptional Education. Also, look for Victor E. later in the game as he helps hold the finish-line tape for the Sausage Race, and hangs out with Bernie Brewer in Bernie’s Dugout above the left field bleachers during the seventh inning.
