his two volume set brings together all of St. Jerome's biblical commentaries dating from the fourth and fifth centuries. St. Jerome's works were popular in 15th century Venice, though this is the only complete edition of this work printed during this period.

he type face is mixed - utilizing both gothic and roman typesets. The gothic text is used to represent the biblical passages themselves, while the commentary is printed in roman.
