The Friends of the UWM Golda Meir Library
About the Friends
The purpose of the Friends of the UWM Golda Meir Library is to promote the Libraries' leadership in teaching, research and public services. The Friends accomplish this through participation in activities that heighten community awareness and advance the Libraries' vital purpose.
Founded in 1975, the Friends organization adds to the activity and strength not only of the Libraries, but the University community as well. Friends' programs connect the campus with the broader community; Friends' gifts enrich the UWM Libraries’ collections; and Friends' development efforts build long-term library support.
