Quick Guide to Getting Course Reserve Documents

Items on reserve are accessible from the "Reserve and E-Reserve" link on the left side of the library homepage.

• Print reserve materials must be checked out at the Reserve Desk, on the east wing of the building.
• Electronic reserve readings can be accessed anywhere you have an active Internet connection.

Off Campus Catalog Access Gateway Page

In order to better address the needs of our ever increasing number of distance education and remote staff and faculty users, the UW Milwaukee Libraries has introduced a new Off Campus Catalog Access gateway page. This link is now active throughout the Libraries web pages and will take users, who are accessing PantherCat from outside of UW Milwaukee campus network, to the Off Campus Catalog Access gateway page. This page offers simple instructions how to access PantherCat as users normally had done before and offer the ability to login with their Panther ID to gain access to all of the restricted resources available only on campus through the Online Catalog. Restricted resources include: Article Databases; E-Books; Electronic Journals (direct subscriptions and full-text); and Electronic Reserve readings. We hope this new service will better direct remote users in a quick and intuitive manner to the information that we have available for their needs.
