Browsing Collection Now Open

The creation of a Browsing Collection is the Libraries’ latest accomplishment in response to student needs for friendly and welcoming study areas. Located in Current Periodicals and furnished with comfortable seating and table lamps, the Browsing Collection is drawn from the Libraries' regular acquisitions flow, and includes recently published fiction, biography, and poetry, as well as new books on local history and culture, communities and heritage, hobbies and recreation, and more.

Libraries Begin Using Collection Agency

The UWM Libraries have begun using a collection agency this summer to assist with the return of long overdue library books and/or payment of outstanding fines. The primary reason for using a collection agency is to assure the return of library materials so that others may use them as well. For questions about library accounts, please contact Service Charges at the Main Circulation Desk at 229-5410 or libfees@uwm.edu.
