K-12 Library Instruction
The Research and Instructional Support Department will provide library instruction sessions and tours to K-12 groups thatmeet the following criteria:
- The primary purpose for bringing students to the library should be for research. A research assignment requiring the use of resources and research materials that can be obtained at the library is suggested and an instructional session will be designed to meet the students' research needs.
- Requests from K-12 groups for library instruction will be considered as time and staffing allow.
- Teachers must accompany all groups and accept full responsibility for the their behavior while in the library.
- Walking tours of the Golda Meir Library building are suggested for elementary and middle school groups. These tours are available throughout the year, depending on staffing.
