Connect to Dissertations UWM Only

UW-Milwaukee student, staff, and faculty members have access to the full-text (in PDF) of UW-Milwaukee dissertations published since 1997 (selected 1996 titles are also available).

To obtain an electronic copy of a UWM dissertation:

  1. Connect to Dissertations & Theses @ University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
  2. Put the author's name and/or title of the dissertation in the search box and click on "Submit Query."
  3. On the search results list, below the citation for the dissertation, click on the "Full Text - PDF" link.

If you are not affiliated with UW-Milwaukee and are unable to visit the library to view a UWM dissertation, you can borrow a copy through your own library's interlibrary loan department, or purchase a copy at Dissertation Express.
