Photocopy Services
Photocopiers are located throughout the library building. Black and white copies are 15 cents per exposure for the standard 8½ x 11 single sided copy; color copies are 35 cents. All copiers take a copy card and five copiers will also accept bills and coins. Three of the copy machines provide the option to scan materials and save the pdfs to a portable drive as well as copy in color. These machines are located in Reserve, Current Periodicals and Research and Instructional Support. Copiers for microformat materials are also available. Copies cost 25 cents and require the use of a copy card.
In addition to the three copy machines which can also scan, a flatbed scanner is available for use in the Current Periodicals Room. There is no charge for scanning copies to a CD-ROM or USB memory stick. The Microforms area has digital microform scanning equipment.
Several computer printers are available in the Research and Instruction Support area on the first floor, west wing of the library. Printers are also available for those with an ePanther account in the Campus Computer Lab on the second floor, east wing of the library.
Printing from an electronic format or online resource requires the use of a copy card. Printing costs 6 cents per sheet of paper and all printing is done duplex.
Copy cards are available from dispensers located in the following areas:
- First floor, west wing lobby
- First floor, east wing lobby
- Second floor, east wing adjacent to the Campus Computer Lab
The initial cost of $1 includes the card and $1 worth of copying. Once the card is purchased, it can be kept and reused by encoding it with even-dollar amounts from the same machine.
A coin changer is located in the Lower Level, West Wing adjacent to the Current Periodicals Room. It accepts $1s, $5s and $10s.
