Description	A research tool for students and scholars, Scottish Women Poets of the Romantic Period presents the work of 47 poets from 60 volumes of material. The database contains poetry and critical reviews in full-text. Biographical details may also included.
	Select browse to scan through the items in the database. Authors - a list of every author in the database Poems - a complete list of every poem (alphabetical order by title) Works - a complete list of all items listed in the database (alphabetical order by title) Reference - a bibliography of the volumes (monographs and articles) indexed in this database (alphabetical by author of volume)
Search	Search for specific items by typing into the appropriate search box - search text by keywords in the document, author, or title.
Results	An alphabetical list of poems matching the criteria will be displayed. Click on the individual title to view the complete poem or the title of the volume to view details of the full volume, including the full list of items in that volume.
	Research results may be sorted in the following ways: Hits = Line by line display Author in alphabetical order Year of publication
Search Tips	*         (asterisk) is used to retrieve word variants (truncation). For example, *habit will retrieve habit, cohabit, and inhabit; cigar* will retrieve cigar, cigars, cigarette. Boolean searching, (and, or, not) is usable as search techniques. Search results may be limited by author or type of document.
Print Results	Select the "Print" icon from the web browser tool bar. Use “Print Preview” to verify that only the necessary pages are beng printed.
Exit	Select "Home" on the Web browser.
