Subject Listing: World War II |

During World War II, Leon Zietara served in the Polish underground army. At the
war's end he spent time in a Scotland refugee camp where he studied forestry.
Wishing to pursue this career Zietara requested, and was granted, admission into
the School of Forestry at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. In the
Fall of 1948 he traveled to the United States aboard the R.M.S. Mauretania. The
above menu details several options available for lunch during his voyage.
