Subject Listing: World War II |

The City Club of Milwaukee was developed to improve the social, civic, and
economic conditions of Milwaukee residents. With the start of World War II the
club put many local programs on hold to assist with the national war effort.
However, at the war's end, the club made immediate plans to continue with its
pre-war activities. The above issue of the club's newsletter, City Club News,
dated September 1945, provides details on a number of these programs.
