In 1946, current and honorably discharged members of the Women's Army Corps and
the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps organized a veterans association "to
promote the general welfare of all veterans" through volunteer activities,
such as Veterans Administration Hospital visits. Every year the organization
held a national convention, which included business sessions, speeches by
Women's Army Corps dignitaries, and memorial services. This is a program cover from the
group's 1949 Convention held at the Schroeder Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
