In consideration of the Archives Department at the Golda Meir Library, University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee making copies available to me from the archival collection of WTMJ-TV, a division of Journal Broadcast Group, Inc.(hereafter WTMJ-TV), it is understood and agreed that:

1.         The materials and/or copies are furnished to me without representation or warranty as to any rights therein and the use thereof shall be entirely at my own risk.

2.         I agree to pay to the Archives Department and/or to WTMJ-TV any standard reproduction charges and user fees that apply.

3.         I understand and agree that the materials from the WTMJ-TV archive are copyrighted by WTMJ-TV and have been provided to me for personal or educational use and I will not use or authorize others to use the material or copies for any purpose whatsoever, including all forms of broadcast, re-broadcast, or publication, except as specifically provided in this agreement, without first obtaining the written consent of the Archives Department at the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee and WTMJ-TV.

4.         I agree to use the WTMJ-TV material provided without significantly altering images through conventional or electronic means.  Altering or manipulating images beyond standard cropping and resizing requires further discussion and agreement with the Archives Department and WTMJ-TV.

5.         I hereby agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the State of Wisconsin, its agencies, the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee, and Journal Broadcast Group, Inc., and their officers, and/or their employees, agents, or designates from and against any and all liability, including costs and expenses, and attorney’s fees based on the violation of rights of ownership, infringement of copyright or trademarks, or invasion of the rights of privacy, or laws of libel, resulting from the use of such materials or copies furnished pursuant hereto.
