ACCESS RESTRICTIONS: There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law. ARRANGEMENT: The collection is arranged alphabetically by subject, then chronologically.
ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY: William Kerr founded the Robert Burns Club of Milwaukee in October 1986. The club joined the Robert Burns World Federation in 1987. In 1988, the club joined the North American Association of Federated Burnsians (NAAFB), which was eventually re-named the Robert Burns Association of North America (RBANA).

ACQUISITION: The Robert Burns Club of Milwaukee donated the collection in four separate accessions during April and May 2003 (accession numbers 2002-083, 2002-085, 2002-086, and 2002-092). Two other small folders of materials were donated in September 2003 (accessions 2003-010 and 2003-016).
PROCESSING: Bill Fliss processed the collection at the Archives from June to August 2003. Christel Maass added the 2003-010 and 2003-016 accessions to the collection in September 2003.
