ABSTRACT: Papers, primarily referring to her work with World War II war bond drives and Red Cross fund raising, of a prominent member of the Milwaukee Polish community and commissioner of District 14 of the Polish National Alliance. Included are letters of appreciation, a newspaper advertisement, a draft of a press release, and other materials reflecting Mrs. Podkomorski's involvement with the Victory Bond rally, sponsored by the Polish American Division, July 29, 1942, with the Polish War Relief Committee, and with a Red Cross Fund Drive. Also included is a card from her campaign for the national vice-presidency of the PNA, and notes taken by a field archivist during an interview with Mrs. Podkomorski.
