ABSTRACT: Papers of settlers Joseph Johnson and Eliza Shepherd Johnson, including
diaries of Eliza from 1894-1898 and 1901 and two photographs (dated ca. 1860 and ca. 1900)
of their farm at Brierly Hill near Hartland, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The diaries
detail weather, farm work, visits of their children, expenditures, and earnings.
