ABSTRACT: Records of an association of service clubs devoted to the civic improvement of the metropolitan Milwaukee area. Papers consist mainly of minutes of meetings (1940-1966), followed by miscellaneous materials relating to two projects sponsored by the Civic Alliance during the 1940s: the war memorial (1944-1946), and the community health and welfare survey, (1947-1949). The minutes are preceded on the film by a descriptive brochure, and a copy of the articles of association, constitution and by-laws.

ACCESS RESTRICTIONS: There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law. However, the researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).
