New Grove Dictionary of Music & Musicians, 2nd Ed. Full-text, Online. This site is available to all UWM students, faculty and staff. NOTE: if you are a UWM user connecting from a non-UWM dial-up (e.g. RoadRunner or DSL) you will be prompted to log-on through the Library's Proxy Server first. To do this you will need your Panther ID and login. For more information see this page. If you are writing a paper and need to cite an article in New Grove II Online, see this page, but note that you should adapt this to the style manual you are using.
