If you are an undergraduate student who requires rapid delivery (24-48 hours) of an article from a periodical not held by the UWM Libraries, you may wish to use ILL’s Rush Request service for a small fee. You may make this request by talking with a staff member in the ILL Office and completing the appropriate ILL request form. Articles can often be obtained within 24-48 hours, but the costs of this service are considerably more than those for routine requests with the normal delivery time of 5-10 working days. Therefore there will be a charge of $5.00 per article to partially defray the additional expense. This service fee is due upon receipt of the article from the ILL Office. Payment may be made by check, in cash, or debited from a departmental account with the ILL Office if the account is established in advance of the request. Articles may be picked up from the Main Circulation Desk during all hours that the UWM Libraries are open.
