An interdisciplinary undergraduate major is offered. No sectarian instruction is given. Buddhist, Christian, Classical Greek and Roman, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, African, and American Indian religions are studied from a broad humanistic perspective. The history, philosophy, and sociology of religion, and religion in art and literature are included in these studies, with faculty participation from several disciplines.
