Studies in ethnography and cultural anthropology include: American Indians of the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest; linguistic anthropology; the anthropology of art; psychological, economic, and political anthropology; medical anthropology; urban anthropology; cross-cultural study of the child; and religion. Archaeological methodology, fieldwork, and area studies include emphasis on archaeology of the Old World and North and South America; and cultures of Central and South America, the Caribbean, Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. Museum studies include curatorship, displays, and administration. Other focuses include: physical anthropology; primate and human evolution; human sociobiology; and human ecology.
