at Other Libraries

Milwaukee Area Libraries

Cooperative Access Program (CAP) – faculty and staff at UWM have borrowing privileges at Marquette University and at the Medical College of Wisconsin libraries through CAP. Simply present your current UWM ID to staff at those libraries to receive your borrowing card. Please see Circulation staff to obtain a brochure with complete information on this program or contact the staff at (414) 229-4132 or libcirc@uwm.edu.

Library Council of Southeastern Wisconsin - Over 100 libraries belong to the Library Council and participate in the InfoPass program. When an item is not owned by our library, an InfoPass allows the user to go to any of the council libraries and check out up to three items with the pass and your UWM ID. There is no limit to the number of passes a user may obtain in a year though passes may only be issued one at a time. The passes are available from the UWM Libraries Information Desk and may be used by UWM faculty, staff and students. For more information, please contact the Information Desk at (414) 229-4659 or ask a Librarian.
