Mapping Hispanic America: Materials on Latin America from the AGS Library This exhibit is in conjunction with the 2008 Holzheimer Lecture, "Ordering the South: The Mapping of Hispanic America by the American Geographical Society," presented by Alastair Pearson and Michael Heffernan in May. It includes map sheets from the 1:1,000,000 scale map of Latin America produced by the AGS, as well as examples of other maps, atlases and books which were collected and used by the AGS in compiling this monumental work.
